(Sigh)

I've been really nostalgic about summer lately, so it figures that this interview with Matt and Kim would come up on Fecal Face. They're also going to be playing Slaughterama again this year! They'll be at the Canal Club on April 3rd.

FUCK I can't wait for summer.

Scion Rock Fest

It's weird because it's one of the best-looking lineups as far as metal fests go, but it's sponsored by Scion. It just seems weird that 1349, Boris, and Skeletonwitch would sign on to this thing. I guess you could argue that Rockstar did the same thing with the Taste of Chaos Tour in that they're just sponsoring the fest, but it seems (and I just realized how many damn links I have in this post so sorry for putting in a couple more) that Scion is mirroring more similarly to what Vans and Warped Tour did to the Punk scene. This is of course if this thing catches on. I just don't know how I feel about it.

Peddles Plus People

I know that if something's on Prolly or Tracko, it's already yesterday's news. But I still think this is pretty cool. Plus a lot of the kids I know are from Florida (most are from the St. Augustine, Miami, St. Petersburg areas, so don't get all territorial on me guys). And I do agree with Prolly that there should be more people-and-their-bikes books/projects. I also like how the photographer didn't take herself too seriously with this project: "I photograph bikes because they are what's around me." Nice.
